Connect Microsoft 365 so Doris can track Outlook calendar activity and deal email threads for the reps you choose. For Outlook teams, the recommended setup is the admin-consented Microsoft 365 connection. Individual Outlook Calendar connection is available as a fallback when admin consent is not in place.
This path requires a Microsoft 365 admin. The admin grants tenant-level consent once, then a Doris admin chooses which Doris users’ Outlook calendars and inboxes Doris should subscribe to.
1

Open the admin Microsoft 365 connection

In Doris, go to Settings > Admin > Data Sources and connect Microsoft 365 under Global Microsoft 365 Integration.
2

Approve Microsoft admin consent

Sign in with a Microsoft 365 admin account and approve the requested permissions. Doris uses this consent to subscribe to Outlook calendar and inbox activity for selected users.
3

Choose tracked users

Return to Settings > Admin > Data Sources, open Track inboxes & calendars, and select the Doris users whose Outlook activity should be tracked.
4

Verify subscriptions

Global Microsoft 365 Integration shows the number of active email and calendar subscriptions. For users selected by an admin, Settings > Calendar shows that calendar sync is managed by the admin.

Fallback: Individual Outlook Calendar

If your team is not using the admin Microsoft 365 connection, each rep can connect their own Outlook Calendar.
1

Open Calendar

Go to the separate Sources > Calendar card, or open Settings > Calendar.
2

Connect Outlook Calendar

Choose Outlook Calendar and sign in with the Microsoft account used for sales meetings.
3

Confirm sync

After OAuth completes, Doris starts syncing upcoming events and live calendar updates for that user.
If a user’s Outlook calendar is managed through the admin Microsoft 365 connection, the personal Outlook Calendar toggle is disabled and no user action is needed.

What It Does

Calendar

Outlook Calendar helps Doris:
  • Detect upcoming meetings for tracked reps
  • Match meeting participants to CRM contacts and companies
  • Give Doris Notetaker the schedule it needs when the native notetaker is active
  • Link completed conversations back to the right deals when CRM context is available

Email

With the admin Microsoft 365 connection, Doris can also ingest deal email threads for selected users. Those emails appear alongside meetings in deal pages, company and contact timelines, and answers from Home.

Tips & Troubleshooting

Use the admin Microsoft 365 connection for Outlook teams whenever possible. It avoids asking every rep to connect their own calendar and keeps calendar and inbox tracking managed centrally.
Doris reads calendar and email data for deal context. It does not send emails or create, modify, or delete calendar events.
Outlook integration requires a Microsoft 365 business or enterprise account. Personal Outlook.com accounts may have limited functionality.
If your team uses both Outlook Calendar and Google Calendar, connect the calendar system used for scheduling sales meetings.
