Connect Microsoft Outlook to sync your calendar and track email conversations for a complete picture of your prospect communications — calls and emails in one place.

Setup

Outlook integration has two parts: calendar (per-user) and email (organization-wide + per-user).

Calendar Setup

1

Navigate to Settings

Go to Settings in the Doris sidebar.
2

Connect Outlook Calendar

Click Outlook > Authorize and sign in with your Microsoft account to sync your calendar.

Email Setup

Email integration requires an admin to authorize organization-wide access first, then each user connects individually.
1

Admin: Enable Outlook Email

Go to Settings > Admin > Email Integration and click Authorize Outlook Email. This grants Doris organization-wide access to email via Microsoft admin consent.
2

User: Connect Your Email

Each team member goes to Settings > Email and connects their Outlook account. Doris begins tracking email conversations automatically.

What It Does

Calendar Sync

Once connected, Outlook Calendar enables:
  • Meeting detection — Doris knows when you have calls and can prepare relevant deal context
  • Automatic scheduling context — Meeting participants are matched to contacts and companies in your pipeline

Email Integration

Outlook email tracking gives you the full communication picture:
  • Deal activity feeds — Emails with prospects appear alongside meetings in your deal pages, so you see every touchpoint in one timeline
  • Company & contact feeds — Email threads are linked to the relevant company and contact profiles in the Context Hub
  • AI Chat context — Doris references email conversations when answering questions about deals and contacts in AI Chat
  • Automatic contact matching — Incoming and outgoing emails are matched to your contacts and deals based on email addresses and company domains

Tips & Troubleshooting

Doris only reads your calendar — it never creates, modifies, or deletes events.
Doris reads emails to extract context and match them to deals. It never sends, modifies, or deletes emails.
Outlook integration requires a Microsoft 365 business or enterprise account. Personal Outlook.com accounts may have limited functionality.
If you use both Outlook Calendar and Google Calendar, connect the one you use for scheduling sales meetings.
