Creating a Theme

Navigate to Themes in the sidebar and click New Theme to launch the Theme Wizard. Walk through each step:
  1. Name — Give your theme a name and see a summary card preview
  2. Logo — Upload your company logo and choose positioning
  3. Design Style — Pick from named presets (e.g., Bold, Elegant, Playful) or customize design tokens directly
  4. Fonts — Choose from curated font pairings or pick custom heading and body fonts
  5. Colors — Select a curated color palette or define custom primary, secondary, and accent colors
A live preview panel updates as you configure each step so you can see exactly how your theme will look on slides.

Presets

Doris includes built-in presets to get you started quickly:

Classic

Clean, traditional styling with serif headings and a professional feel.

Modern

Contemporary design with bold colors and sans-serif typography.

Corporate

Formal, polished styling suited for enterprise presentations.

Minimal

Stripped-back design that lets your content take center stage.
Use a preset as a starting point, then customize it with your own colors, fonts, and logo.

Applying Brand Kits

When creating or editing a presentation, select your brand kit to apply consistent styling across all slides. The brand kit controls:
  • Background and text colors
  • Heading and body font families
  • Accent colors for highlights and decorative elements
  • Logo placement
Set up your brand kit once and it applies to everything your team creates. This is especially useful for larger teams where brand consistency matters.
