Creating a Presentation

There are two ways to create presentations:
  1. Ask Doris in AI Chat — Try: “Create a presentation for the Acme deal” or “Build a deck for my meeting with Globex tomorrow”
  2. Use the Generate page — Click Generate in the sidebar and start with a topic or deal

Outline-First Flow

Doris starts by researching your deal context — searching transcripts, meeting summaries, and CRM data — then generates a structured outline with per-slide evidence. You can review and edit the outline inline before generating slides. This means every slide is grounded in real evidence from your conversations.

Streaming Generation

Slides generate progressively — each slide streams into the editor as it’s completed so you can start reviewing and editing before the full deck is finished.

Editing Slides

The presentation editor gives you full control over your deck:
  • Inline text editing — Click any text to edit it directly on the slide
  • Bubble menu — Select text to access font, color, and formatting options
  • Smart blocks — Slides use structured content blocks — stat cards, timelines, process steps, comparisons, icon cards, team cards, and more
  • Slash commands — Type / to insert new blocks from a searchable menu
  • Block drag and reorder — Drag blocks to rearrange content within a slide
  • Column resize — Adjust column widths by dragging the resize handle
  • Card toolbar — Click a slide to access background picker and block controls
  • Insert bar — Hover between cards to insert new content from templates
  • Speaker notes — Add notes for each slide to help during your presentation
  • Slide reordering — Drag slides in the thumbnail panel to rearrange the flow
  • Insert from library — Add slides from your Slide Library without starting from scratch
  • AI editing with Beacon — Open Beacon in the editor and ask Doris to make changes. She proposes edits as inline diffs you can accept or reject individually

Slide Library

Build a reusable collection of your best slides. Upload PowerPoint files and Doris extracts each slide so you can tag, organize, and reuse them across presentations.
  • Extract slides — Upload a .pptx file and each slide is extracted with full visual fidelity
  • Tag and describe — Add descriptions and tags so slides are easy to find later
  • Browse and insert — When editing a presentation, browse your library and insert slides with one click
  • Agent search — Doris can search your slide library and suggest relevant slides while building a deck
Access the Slide Library from the Decks Hub in the sidebar.

Present Mode

Run through your deck directly in Doris with fullscreen Present mode. No need to download the file or switch to another tool — click Present in the editor toolbar to start.

Brand Kits

Apply your company’s visual branding to any presentation so every deck looks professional and on-brand. Configure colors, fonts, and logos once and apply them everywhere. See Brand Kits for setup instructions.

Sharing & Export

Once your presentation is ready:
  • Present — Run through your deck in fullscreen directly from Doris
  • Download as PPTX — Export as a PowerPoint file for sharing or presenting offline
  • Download as PDF — Export a print-ready PDF version of your deck
