Google Calendar Setup

Navigate to Settings

Go to Settings in the Doris sidebar. Each user connects their own Google Calendar.

Connect Google Calendar

Click Google Calendar > Authorize and sign in with your Google account.

Grant permissions

Allow Doris read access to your calendar events. Doris syncs your upcoming meetings for meeting prep and context.

What It Does

Calendar Sync

Once connected, Google Calendar enables:
  • Meeting detection — Doris knows when you have calls and can prepare relevant deal context
  • Automatic scheduling context — Meeting participants are matched to contacts and companies in your pipeline

Google Meet Integration

Google Meet meetings are automatically detected from your Google Calendar events — no separate connection needed. When a Google Meet is detected:
  • Doris joins the meeting to record and transcribe
  • Transcripts appear in Conversations within minutes of the meeting ending
  • Insights are extracted and linked to relevant deals automatically

Tips & Troubleshooting

Doris only reads your calendar — it never creates, modifies, or deletes events.
Make sure the Google account you connect is the one with your work calendar. If you use multiple Google accounts, select the correct one during authorization.
Google Meet recording works automatically once your calendar is connected. No additional setup is needed for meeting capture.
