People & access is where an admin manages who can use Doris. Go to Settings > Workspace > People & access. The header shows how many people and workspace integrations you have. If your plan has a seat limit, it also shows “N of M seats used”.

Invite people

1

Open the invite dialog

Select Invite people. The Invite members dialog opens.
2

Enter email addresses

In Email addresses, enter one or more addresses. Separate them with commas, spaces or new lines.
3

Choose a role

Choose Admin, Manager or Member. All people in one invite get the same role.
4

Send

Select Send invites. Doris skips an address that is already a member or belongs to another workspace, and tells you why.
An invited person shows as Invited until they accept. An invitation uses a seat. When all seats are in use, Invite people is off. The page says “All N seats are in use. Free a seat or talk to your Doris contact.” See Billing.

Product roles

The invite dialog calls the admin role Admin. The people table calls it Workspace admin.

Manage a person

Each row in the table shows Person, Lifecycle, Product role, Reporting, Integration coverage and Scoped access. Open the row menu () to change a person. Doris asks you to confirm before it disables or removes a person. Reporting managers decide who a Manager’s team summaries cover.

Integration coverage and scoped access

Integration coverage shows whether each workspace connection covers the person, for example Managed, Personal or Action required. To change it, use the connection’s Coverage tab. See Coverage. Scoped access shows roles that apply to one connection only. Give scoped access on the connection’s Access tab.

Groups

Groups exist only in managed workspaces. The Groups tab appears when the workspace has at least one group. Groups let you set integration coverage for a team at one time. There are two kinds:
  • Directory sources: groups that Doris reads from Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or Salesforce. You cannot edit them in Doris. Select Sync Microsoft 365 (or the source name) to refresh them.
  • Workspace groups: groups you create in Doris. Select Create group, enter a Group name, then select Create.
Use a group in a Group policy on a connection’s Coverage tab.
