# Roundtables

> Manage shared buyer-facing deal rooms for mutual action plans, files, links, and messages.

Roundtables are shared deal rooms where your team and your buyer can work from the same action plan. Use them when a deal needs visible next steps, shared resources, and a buyer-facing space that stays connected to the deal in Doris.

## When to use Roundtables

* Run a mutual action plan with a buyer
* Share files, recordings, and useful links in one buyer-facing place
* Give stakeholders a simple room they can join without creating a Doris account
* Send human-triggered reminders for overdue buyer or seller tasks
* Keep buyer-visible commitments aligned with your internal deal record

## How to use Roundtables

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open or create a room">
    Open **Roundtables** from the sidebar to see rooms across deals, or use the **Roundtable** tab on a deal to manage that deal's room.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Invite the buyer">
    Share the room link with the buyer. Buyers verify their email with a one-time code before joining.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Build the mutual action plan">
    Add buyer and seller tasks with owners, due dates, and status. Buyer-visible tasks stay aligned with commitments Doris tracks on the deal.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add resources">
    Upload files, share recordings, and curate useful links so the buyer can find the material they need without digging through email.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Use messages and reminders deliberately">
    Mention room members or send reminders when a task needs attention. Doris does not send automated buyer messages; a person chooses each nudge.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What buyers see

Buyers only see the room content you share: the action plan, files, recordings, useful links, and messages. Internal deal intelligence, scores, risks, and private notes stay inside your Doris console.

<Tip>Use Roundtables for deals where mutual accountability matters. The room works best when the next steps are concrete, assigned, and kept current.</Tip>
