# Home

> Ask Doris anything, review your day, and jump into the work that needs attention.

Home is the starting point for daily work in Doris. Use it when you want to ask a question, prepare for a meeting, send the Doris notetaker, or see whether any records need attention before you move into a specific deal or account.

## When to use Home

* Start your day with the meetings Doris sees from your calendar
* Ask pipeline, deal, company, people, or meeting questions in plain language
* Send the Doris notetaker to an upcoming meeting
* Jump into Data Quality when records need cleanup
* Check recent product updates from inside the console

## What powers Home

Home becomes useful once Doris has connected context from:

* **CRM records** from [Salesforce](/integrations/salesforce) or [HubSpot](/integrations/hubspot)
* **Calendar events** from [Microsoft 365 / Outlook](/integrations/outlook) or [Google Calendar](/integrations/google)
* **Meeting transcripts** from Doris Notetaker or [Gong](/integrations/gong)
* **Email threads** from the Microsoft 365 admin connection

<Tip>Start with [Getting Started](/quickstart) if Home looks empty. Most Home actions depend on CRM, calendar, and meeting capture being connected first.</Tip>
