# Companies

> Review account records, linked deals, people, activity, and company-level context.

Companies is the account workspace in Doris. Use it to inspect an organization, understand its linked opportunities and contacts, and review the activity Doris has connected to that account.

## When to use Companies

* Find an account synced from your CRM
* Review all deals linked to one organization
* See the people Doris knows at a company
* Check recent meetings, emails, commitments, and activity for an account
* Investigate account-level sentiment or engagement

## How to use the Companies list

    Open **Companies** from the **Records** section of the sidebar.

  <Step title="Search or filter">
    Search by company name or domain. Filter by industry, lifecycle stage, country, annual revenue, or last contact date.

  <Step title="Scan account signals">
    Use linked deals, open pipeline value, last contact, sentiment, and activity to decide which account needs attention.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the company">
    Open a company record to review the narrative, linked deals, people, and full activity rail.
  </Step>

* **Narrative** — Read Doris' account-level summary
* **Deals** — Review opportunities linked to the company
* **People** — See contacts associated with the company
* **Activity** — Follow meetings, emails, commitments, and other timeline events tied to the account

## Where company data comes from

Companies usually sync from your connected CRM and become richer as Doris processes meetings and emails. Connect [Salesforce](/integrations/salesforce) or [HubSpot](/integrations/hubspot), then import records from the CRM source page.
