# Commitments

> Track promises across deals, mark follow-through, and spot overdue work.

Commitments is the worklist of promises Doris captured from meetings and emails. Use it to see what buyers owe you, what your team owes buyers, and which commitments are overdue or at risk.

## When to use Commitments

* Start or end the day by checking what is due
* Follow up on overdue buyer commitments
* Mark seller commitments complete after your team follows through
* Filter commitments by deal, owner, status, type, or due date
* Bulk-complete or cancel commitments you have resolved

## How to use Commitments

<Steps>
  <Step title="Start with open commitments">

  </Step>

  <Step title="Take action">
    Select one or more commitments to mark them complete or cancel them. For deal-specific context, open the linked deal and review the underlying meeting or email evidence.
  </Step>
</Steps>
